About The Position

U.S. Bank is hiring a Senior Relationship Banker to build and maintain customer relationships across in-person, appointment-based, and virtual channels. The role provides banking guidance by assessing customer needs, gathering and processing customer and account information, explaining deposit and loan products and services, and recommending solutions aligned with individual goals. The banker uses a digital-first approach and aims to deliver a consistent, accurate client experience. The position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. Registration includes criminal background and credit checks; failure to meet or maintain registration requirements may result in rescission of an offer or termination of employment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Typically five or more years of job-related retail banking experience, or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
Must obtain and maintain NMLS registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, including satisfactory criminal background and credit checks.

Responsibilities

Build and foster client relationships through proactive outreach, follow-up, questions, and discovery of financial needs and banking channel preferences.
Identify solutions for new and existing clients through effective engagement and communication.
Maintain working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services, including digital offerings.
Provide a consistent client experience, including greeting clients and processing basic transactions.
Collaborate with branch team members and partners to serve clients.
Open consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
Educate clients about emerging and self-service digital products and services.
Use available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy.
