About The Position

Spee Dee Delivery is a family-owned and operated company founded in 1978. Its core business is standard, next-day, ground delivery, and it has more than 1,800 employees across the Midwest. The Hub Receptionist answers incoming calls, greets guests and applicants, and presents a professional image of the company to the public. The position is based in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The starting wage is $20.00–$25.25 per hour, based on experience; starting pay depends on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Be able to multitask and handle a large call volume.
Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
Be able to pass a criminal background check.
Be able to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer and answering the phone.
Be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous reception, clerical, or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

Direct incoming calls to the correct department or individual.
Take messages for the appropriate department or individual as needed.
Greet and assist visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner.
Open and close the front lobby.
Assist customers at the walk-in counter.
Sort and file paperwork for various departments.
Perform light cleaning in the front lobby and office areas to maintain a clean and neat appearance.
Update the phone directory as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
