As a Sr. Real Estate Analyst you will perform real estate functions related to the Valero family of companies including performing real estate lease and easement transactions, lease management and compliance and coordinating sales and acquisitions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher level degree required in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or related, required.
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate and/or right-of-way real property management, required.
  • Able and willing to work on-site, in-person at the Valero San Antonio location, required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, prepare, manage, track, and file real estate and right of way related documents.
  • Assist various departments within the company with their real estate and right of way related needs as they arise.
  • Direct accounts receivable in rental terms and receivables.
  • Calculate and reconcile percentage rental, real estate taxes, common area maintenance fees and other payments due.
  • Notify tenants of renewal and termination dates and rental adjustments.
  • Negotiate new and extended contract terms.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed summaries and reports documenting income and rental leases, and right-of-way acquisition transactions.
  • Meet Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines and prepare required reports.
  • Act as liaison with landowners, tenants and governmental agencies to assure compliance with easement, and lease requirements and legal matters.
  • Authorize internal and external contractors to handle property maintenance needs.
  • Assist in coordination of fee sales and acquisitions including working with legal, tax, title companies, brokers, contract landmen, and other internal departments
  • Coordinate file set-up according to LPM and RIMS policies.
  • Respond to informational requests from other departments relating to the company’s real estate assets.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned by the Vice President, Global Real Estate and Right-of-Way Services and/or the Director, Global Real Estate Services.
