About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join a dynamic LNG engineering team that values innovation and continuous learning. This role is at NV5 LNG Engineering, where we engineer LNG transformative solutions to address industry pressing challenges head-on. Our innovative approach includes the design and installation of liquefaction equipment at gas utility sites, enabling utilities to purchase natural gas at opportune moments when prices are low and compress it into liquefied natural gas (LNG). By compressing natural gas into LNG, utilities can effectively store it, ensuring availability during peak usage periods and mitigating the impact of price fluctuations. Requirements

BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years’ experience within Oil & Gas, LNG, or heavy industrial, 5+ years managing these types of projects from inception to completion.
Experience in design of cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, oil, or power systems.
Previous work specifying pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, heaters, coolers, boilers, or pressure vessels.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Client relationship development and maintenance, project execution, schedule and budget management, project engineering oversight, project start-up, and project closeout.
Responsible for developing, overseeing design, and managing all aspects of LNG projects including liquefaction, storage, truck transfer, and vaporization of LNG.
Reporting to senior management and project teams on project status, budget, and schedule.
Reporting to and holding meetings with Clients to review project updates.
Review design, procurement, and operations specifications for equipment and systems.
Field commissioning and troubleshooting support of LNG plant startup and operations.
Coordination of internal and external resources throughout project, including team leaders, construction managers, and commissioning team.
Reviewing calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions and drawings.
Maintain technical proficiency and code expertise in the LNG field (49CFR193, NFPA 59A, ASME B31.3, BPVC Section VIII).
Develop cost estimates and proposals in response to client requests.
Development of drawings for fabrication and construction of plant piping and equipment systems in collaboration with the engineering and design team. This may include interdisciplinary work with civil, electrical, process, and controls project groups to optimize design.
