SUMMARY: This individual will lead and be responsible for executing the integration strategy for VSE Aviation. This includes achieving key synergies between the diverse groups within Aviation, managing a project plan and timeline, leading change management processes, partner with various functions across the business, and executing an internal/external communication plan. The individual will work closely with the acquired company leadership and a cross-functional team spanning accounting/finance, legal, business technology, distribution, and repair to transform how we integrate and scale the acquired businesses. The individual will come with deep experience in project management, have strong analytical skills, and be data driven with a proven record of objective decision making with quantifiable results. This role is detail-oriented, strategic, and able to build positive relationships and influence across the organization. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Translate strategic objectives into tactical actions, support strategic planning, assess risks and challenges, develop comprehensive project plans, monitor status of multiple integrations simultaneously, rapidly identify and resolve potential issues, and give regular status updates to senior leadership as appropriate including escalation of any issues that will impact cost, schedule, or budget. Manages timelines, resources, and financials for integration projects. Operationalize and execute the integration strategy throughout the integration lifecycle. Balance different stakeholders need to optimize the delivery of business value. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and the working team. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to orchestrate impactful integration planning and execution. Establish measurement criteria to guide the performance of established strategies, identify deficiencies, and develop impactful solutions. Develop and execute a change management plan. Lead development of Internal and External communications in partnership with marketing and the communications leader. Coordinate integration workstreams, manage dependencies, track milestones, and deliverables, maintain risk, and issue logs, and ensure timely reporting of integration progress to leadership. Leading and facilitating meetings. Other duties as assigned.
