About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Digital Excellence, the Journey Manager, Business Integrations leads digital, operational, and technology integration initiatives that support successful mergers and business integrations. Working closely with business, technology, project, and vendor partners, this role ensures seamless integration planning and execution, aligns processes and platforms with organizational goals, mitigates risks, and enhances the experience for members and colleagues while establishing scalable integration standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five to eight years of progressive experience in digital operations, business analysis, or data sciences, including at least two to three years in a leadership role, preferably within a financial institution or complex enterprise environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experienced leading enterprise-level initiatives in business integrations, business analysis, change management, vendor management, or process optimization.
  • Able to lead change, drive adoption, and embed sustainable practices across an organization while influencing partners at all levels.
  • Knowledgeable of banking products and merger/migration activities, preferably within the Atlantic Credit Union system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, evolution, and execution of the Merger Integration Playbook.
  • Serve as the primary owner accountable for merger integration activities, deliverables, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on platform, vendor, and systems integration, balancing speed, cost, risk, scalability, and member experience.
  • Ensure integration requirements are embedded within enterprise roadmaps, transformation plans, and merger strategies early in the lifecycle.
  • Drive governance, standardization, alignment, and consistency across merging organizations, systems, and operational practices.
  • Promote innovation, automation opportunities, and continuous improvement throughout integration activities.
  • Define and oversee enterprise-wide vendor and platform integration strategies aligned with digital transformation and organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain integration governance frameworks, including standards for APIs, data exchange, security, and platform interoperability.
  • Lead integration roadmap planning, vendor ecosystem rationalization, and evaluation of modernization or consolidation opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end integration lifecycle activities, including due diligence, design, implementation, optimization, and decommissioning.
  • Support vendor selection and oversight by evaluating integration maturity, scalability, technical dependencies, and long-term interoperability.
  • Lead and coordinate merger integration activities, including progress tracking, milestone management, reporting, and dependency oversight.
  • Monitor pre-and post-merger ticket management, testing, implementation, and solutioning activities to support successful integration outcomes.
  • Support post-integration adoption, onboarding, process adherence, and reinforcement activities across impacted teams.
  • Evaluate policies, procedures, workflows, systems, and operational processes across merging organizations in collaboration with business partners and SMEs.
  • Lead efforts to minimize operational disruption and mitigate member and employee impacts throughout merger and integration activities.
  • Collaborate with organizational partners to improve internal efficiencies, integrated service delivery, and overall organizational effectiveness.
