The Senior Program Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of the Summer Academy, serving as part of the summer leadership team to ensure a successful program. This role requires a clinical or other relevant background to assist in implementing positive behavioral and trauma-informed strategies with youth participants, and to serve as a liaison to caregivers and child welfare stakeholders. The Senior Program Coordinator cultivates appropriate behavior, helps problem-solve situations, teaches social-emotional skills through structured activities, acts as a liaison to the child welfare system, and encourages successful learning practices. The position is expected to work full-time while youth are on campus, which may include sleeping in the dorms at least twice per week. This is a temporary full-time position from June 22 – July 31, 2025, requiring 21 hours of training in June. During the summer, the schedule will approximate a 40-hour work week and may include nights and weekends.
