About The Position

Microsoft is hiring a technical product marketing leader for Developer Product Marketing, bringing Visual Studio Code and GitHub developer experiences to market. The position combines product shaping, business-model definition, and go-to-market execution. It involves developing product narratives and value propositions as AI changes software development, evaluating pricing and packaging, and choosing channels such as community, product-led growth, field sales, partners, and events to support awareness, adoption, and growth. The role is listed as Product Marketing IC4. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $106,400–$203,600 per year. For specific work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area, the range is USD $137,600–$222,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. The position will be open for a minimum of five days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
