About The Position

The Sr Product Manager will serve as a primary product-led partner for strategic enterprise accounts globally and connect go-to-market teams with Splunk’s product organization. The role combines product telemetry, lifecycle context, customer feedback, and business priorities to cohort customers and identify workstreams that improve customer outcomes. It involves direct engagement with customers, account teams, product managers, engineering leaders, and executives, translating complex customer needs into product requirements, decisions, and action plans. The role requires shaping strategy, working through ambiguity, and driving disciplined execution without direct authority. The Strategic Product Engagement Team builds an enterprise product-led growth and retention capability. It uses product usage telemetry, lifecycle data, and customer insight to coordinate proactive action across Product & Technology, Customer Experience, and Sales. The team identifies product-rooted challenges and gaps early and activates mitigations, with plans to extend this operating model to accelerate adoption, expansion, and cross-portfolio value across Splunk and Cisco. It operates through a unified engagement model with shared accountability, clear decision rights, and disciplined handoffs. The product manager owns product-led lifecycle engagement for a portfolio of strategic customers, with engagement scaled to customer value and opportunity. The role represents the Splunk product organization to customers and go-to-market leaders, connects product and go-to-market teams, contributes to product-outcome account planning, and uses telemetry and AI summarization to drive customer experience and growth workstreams. It also translates customer insights into product action and defines and reports engagement KPIs, including usage and health, to inform growth opportunities, re-platforming of existing use cases, and retention risks.
