About The Position

The Sr Procurement Buyer will support the successful execution of procurement practices to enhance profitability and secure a reliable, agile supply chain. The role develops and executes procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity. It oversees complex procurement projects from initiation through completion and provides guidance to a team of procurement professionals.

The position is with Honeywell Aerospace, described as an independent, publicly traded aerospace and defense company. Candidates must be a U.S. person under applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations: a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. Requirements

• Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined for U.S. export control compliance: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
