Sr Procurement Buyer
About The Position
The Sr Procurement Buyer will support the successful execution of procurement practices, enhance profitability, and secure a reliable and agile supply chain. The role develops and executes procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and oversees complex procurement projects through completion. It also provides guidance to a team of procurement professionals. Candidates must have extensive procurement and project management experience, a record of managing complex procurement projects, strong negotiation and contract management skills, and in-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. A bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is valued. Candidates must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export control laws and regulations: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in procurement and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
