About The Position

As a part of the Aerospace procurement organization, this role is responsible to align supplier delivery to Honeywell’s requirement dates to meet financial commitments and satisfy customers. Assigned a specific group of suppliers/parts, you will ensure that those suppliers have credible delivery plans and communicate with operations and planning teams to reconcile the master production schedule. Hold standard supplier status/ open order meetings, and support site/team meetings, to insure suppliers can support Honeywell demand and escalate any technical/quality issues quickly to avoid impacting production. Escalate gaps in commits both internally and at the supplier. Perform occasional one-off non-standard buys. Administrate purchase orders to ensure quality hardware is delivered on time. Understand material shortages and supplier’s capacity and capabilities. You will manage supplier forecast and PO acknowledgement process through Honeywell web portal. Your performance will be measured on performance via key metrics including missing commits, late commits, and decommits.

• Experience in procurement within the Aerospace industry.
• Ability to align supplier delivery to requirement dates.
• Skills in communicating with operations and planning teams.
• Experience holding supplier status/open order meetings.
• Ability to escalate technical/quality issues.
• Experience escalating commitment gaps.
• Experience with one-off non-standard buys.
• Ability to administer purchase orders.
• Understanding of material shortages, supplier capacity, and capabilities.
• Experience managing supplier forecast and PO acknowledgement.
