About The Position

Workday Government LLC is seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager (TPM) to support its growing U.S. Federal business. The role drives large-scale, complex, cross-functional technical initiatives and strategic programs for enterprise growth in the Federal market. The TPM works with executive leadership, program sponsors, business leads, engineering, security, operations, and technology teams to define strategy and scope, coordinate dependencies, mitigate risks, align timelines, and deliver committed outcomes. The position combines technical fluency with senior program-management expertise to maintain execution momentum and provide clear executive insights. The successful candidate is an organized, technically fluent program leader who can manage ambiguity, align stakeholders, and break complex problems into actionable plans. The work includes designing and implementing technology, cloud, migration, business, compliance, and delivery processes for Federal-market programs, as well as supporting executive governance and operational practices. The role may require a security clearance at the TS/SCI with CI Poly level, and may require on-site work at client locations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. The role supports one or more direct or indirect U.S. Federal Government contracts. Due to federal security requirements, personnel working on those contracts must be U.S. citizens, either naturalized or native. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; an active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred.

  • Previous experience in a federal government business model.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship (naturalized or native) to work on the applicable Federal Government contracts.

  • Experience with design thinking, strategy definition, and execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, process, and organization, with the ability to convey ideas effectively through various mediums.
  • Adaptability in ambiguous situations and flexibility to adjust priorities quickly.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and issues and implement mitigation plans.
