About The Position

Workday Government LLC is seeking a senior technical program manager to lead large-scale, complex, cross-functional technical initiatives supporting its growing U.S. Federal business. The role partners with executive leadership, program sponsors, business leads, technology teams, and third parties across engineering, security, and operations to advance enterprise growth. The program manager coordinates critical initiatives, dependencies, risks, and deliverables, combining program-management expertise with technical fluency to engage engineering teams and provide clear executive insights. The role leads strategy definition, scope identification, cross-functional design, timeline alignment, and on-time delivery of committed outcomes. It also involves establishing integrated program plans and goals, monitoring and reporting progress, facilitating meetings, and supporting executive governance and operational practices. The position supports one or more direct or indirect U.S. Federal Government contracts. Federal security requirements mandate that personnel working on these contracts be U.S. citizens, either naturalized or native. The role may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance at the TS/SCI with CI Poly level; an active clearance at that level is preferred. The role may require working onsite at client locations in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

  • Previous experience in a federal government business model.
  • U.S. citizenship, either naturalized or native, due to federal contract security requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance if required.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to make informed business decisions in complex scenarios.
  • Experience with design thinking, strategy definition, and execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, process, and organization, and ability to convey ideas through various mediums.
  • Ability to adapt in ambiguous situations, adjust priorities, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
