About The Position

Adobe's CAO Finance & Technology Transformation Office is looking for a Sr. Portfolio & Business Operations Manager to help build and develop our transformation program management capability while supporting the business operations of substantial, multifaceted projects. In this role, you will work where careful planning, financial management, and operational delivery intersect. You will partner with leaders to inform tradeoffs, sequencing, and investment decisions using portfolio, financial, and resource data. Requirements

  • Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong business and financial competence, comfortable operating at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution.
  • Experience in transformation and program operations, supporting large, complex initiatives.
  • Ability to zoom out to strategy while staying hands-on with execution details.
  • Skilled at crafting repeatable workflows, governance models, and enablement mechanisms.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, capable of distilling complexity into clear narratives.
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to influence without authority.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities.
  • Diligent without losing sight of outcomes.
  • Background in Strategy & Operations, Transformation BizOps, Finance/FP&A, Consulting, or Program Management roles supporting enterprise-scale initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working closely with Finance, Procurement, and vendor partners is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support multi-year transformation programs through portfolio planning, financial oversight, and coordination across multiple functions.
  • Stand up and evolve a transformation portfolio management capability, including intake, prioritization, sequencing, and governance across initiatives.
  • Develop business case and value assessments to inform prioritization, funding, and investment tradeoff decisions.
  • Operationalize strategic priorities into execution plans, integrated roadmaps, and governance rhythms that balance value, capacity, and risk.
  • Serve as a thought partner to leaders, advising on portfolio trade-offs, sequencing decisions, and resource and financial implications that inform executive decision forums.
  • Own or co-own budget planning, forecasting, and spend governance for transformation initiatives.
  • Provide access to financial health, risks, and variances for informed decision-making.
  • Synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations and prepare executive-ready materials.
  • Proactively determine and resolve risks, dependencies, and misalignments.
