Sr. Platform Engineer

Entrust•Dallas, TX

About The Position

Entrust is seeking a highly technical, hands-on Sr. Platform Engineer to design and lead implementation of private datacenter Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities. The role translates service architecture into automated, consumable infrastructure services, beginning with self-service networking and expanding to compute, storage, load balancing, and related platform capabilities. It is a builder role focused on delivering the first generation of Entrust’s internal infrastructure-as-a-service platform, requiring practical experience across networking, virtualization, and automation. The engineer will partner with infrastructure architects, leadership, and domain teams to implement the private-cloud and IaaS strategy; advance controlled self-service and automated provisioning; develop platform engineering standards and practices; and help build AIOps capabilities. The role also provides technical implementation guidance, resolves complex platform challenges, and documents architectures, workflows, procedures, and standards. Entrust describes its workplace options as flexible, including remote, hybrid, or on-site arrangements. Compensation varies by location. In the US, the anticipated starting base pay is $124,026–$181,905 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan. In Canada, the pay range is $108,000–$158,000 per year, also with eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive plan. Eligible colleagues and dependents may receive health and well-being benefits, paid time off, and other listed benefits, subject to applicable plan terms.
