This position specializes in the compliance of ERISA qualified retirement plans. Primary responsibilities are to assist with plan compliance and quality control. Duties/Responsibilities: Ability to perform or quality review nondiscrimination testing and other compliance related tasks completed by plan compliance team members. Participate in staff development of plan compliance team by providing ERISA technical guidance and quality review feedback. Expert understanding of qualified plan retirement plan contributions (including New Comparability). Perform QDRO reviews for accuracy and completeness and determine the award to alternate payee. Review death distributions to determine beneficiary and payout period. Update compliance materials, participant forms, letters and distribution packages for law changes/disclosures within recordkeeping software and web access by client. Effectively execute resolution to escalated technical issues from clients and/or internal staff. Identify and utilize internal and external resources for compliance resolution. Provide plan design support for existing and on boarding clients. Participate in compliance related projects and other duties as assigned. Maintain an expert level knowledge of qualified plan regulations. Possess a strong understanding of department processes, procedures and standards
