About The Position

Universal Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee warehouse and inventory operations and lead the general workforce in meeting operational goals. The role is the company’s primary face to its Tier 1 automotive customer and includes daily customer interaction. Responsibilities also include ensuring quality and safety compliance, tracking operational performance, and maintaining positive customer relationships. Requirements

0–5 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehousing, distribution, or transportation environment.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
Competitive and career-oriented mindset.
Energetic, self-motivated approach.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory and material flow.
Manage quality and safety compliance with company policies and procedures.
Interact with the customer daily and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare or handle reports related to production, quality, safety, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies.
Act as a liaison between the company and customers, forming and maintaining positive relationships.
Perform other tasks delegated by the customer and/or General Manager.
Supervise and lead the general workforce to meet operational goals.
