About The Position

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to support its Continuous Improvement Department in Duluth, Georgia. The position trains internal staff on World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma programs adapted for office environments. It coordinates and leads training sessions with Continuous Improvement Champions, coaches project teams, and partners with the Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Departments at WEG’s global headquarters. The role works with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive process improvement initiatives, analyze business problems, and select appropriate methods for resolving them. It also learns and applies WEG’s WMS Office tool, leads assigned Kaizen events and WMS Office projects, facilitates training on WMS Office and Lean Six Sigma tools, and coaches process owners and stakeholders in aligning improvement efforts with company goals. Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Knowledge of problem definition and solving using quality tools and methodologies, including Ishikawa diagrams, 5 Whys, 5W2H, PDCA, and DMAIC.
Ability to drive process improvements using Lean tools and methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, and Kaizen.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Project management experience.
Electrical, mechanical, or technical background.

Responsibilities

Work with the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify and drive process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency.
Apply knowledge of customers, products, and processes to analyze business problems and determine appropriate methods for resolving them.
Partner with WEG’s global Continuous Improvement Department to learn the WMS Office tool, based on World Class Manufacturing’s technical and managerial pillars.
Lead Kaizen events and WMS Office projects as assigned by the Continuous Improvement Manager.
Facilitate training on WMS Office and Lean Six Sigma tools to develop Continuous Improvement capabilities across the organization.
Coach process owners and key stakeholders, applying Lean principles to align problem-solving and improvement project outcomes with company goals.
