Themis Insight•Fort Meade, MD

About The Position

Themis Insight is hiring a Sr. Network Engineer to work in the Fort Meade, Maryland vicinity. The position location may change based on the needs of a central Maryland client. The role requires a TS/SCI with a Polygraph. The engineer performs network services across design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of existing networks. The work includes LAN/CAN/WAN administration; analysis of designs and specifications; coordinating conversions, cutovers, and incident resolution; and translating business needs into telecommunications requirements and designs. The position also supports modernization and enhancement efforts for medium- and large-scale telecommunications infrastructures. At Level 3, the engineer optimizes end-to-end performance and data flow, conducts network performance data captures, and designs, integrates, configures, deploys, tests, and maintains network devices and interfaces. The role supports network and mission architecture, server connectivity requirements, network diagrams and accreditations, and complex network troubleshooting. It also leads large installation efforts, develops network models and algorithms, and provides guidance to junior Network Engineers. Themis Insight describes its teams as small, highly skilled, and interdisciplinary, serving clients across industries and public, private, civilian, and military domains.
