Responsibilities

  • Lead correlation, calibration, and certification of inline measurement systems (EINES, ISV, Perceptron, VRSI-Laser Radar) against offline CMM and scan data, working with vendors and plant engineering teams.
  • Create and maintain automated, production-ready programs for dimensionally inspecting parts and assemblies using Zeiss Inspect (GOM) and PolyWorks.
  • Dimensionally inspect parts using vision systems, CMMs, laser trackers, portable arms, and 3D laser and blue-light scanners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand needs and solve measurement and process problems.
  • Support the development of measurement methods for components and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret drawings and CATIA CAD models, including GD&T.
  • Contribute to the standardization and optimization of production measurement methods and techniques.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining operational documentation and work instructions.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to help improve product and process quality.
  • Analyze data to define trends, capability, and functional improvements (PIST, Cp/Cpk), and support development of methods to analyze product and process quality.
