About The Position

The Sr Merchandise Specialist supports assigned Personal Care categories across Target’s in-store and online channels, providing executional support to merchandise buying and planning teams. The role contributes to new vendor setup and maintains item and vendor data across many SKUs. It communicates on behalf of the department in meetings and by email, serving as a liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops, and vendors. The specialist also coordinates samples and works with supply chain partners to resolve issues and support successful product flow through Target’s network.

This position operates in a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day arrangement, with work performed both onsite at the assigned Target HQ Minnesota location and virtually, depending on the role, team, and daily tasks. Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target. Duties may change based on business needs.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
