The Senior Manager, Trade Business Communications develops compelling communications and visual storytelling that advance Scholastic Trade Publishing's priorities, strengthen organizational alignment, and elevate the visibility of our books, authors, and publishing programs. As a trusted partner to Trade Publishing leadership, this role translates business strategies into clear, engaging communications for employees, industry partners, retailers, agents, authors, and other key audiences. Working closely with Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Publicity, and executive leadership, this role helps bring to life some of the world's most beloved books, authors, and brands through presentations, internal communications, launch materials, and business storytelling. This individual will: Inform: Translate publishing priorities, organizational updates, and strategic initiatives into clear, timely, and actionable communications. Inspire: Create compelling narratives and presentation materials that showcase Scholastic's books, authors, publishing programs, and impact. Elevate: Enhance communication tools, channels, and creative assets to ensure consistent messaging, stronger engagement, and a best-in-class brand experience. This role reports to the Senior Director, Business Communications and partners across Trade Publishing to develop integrated communications that support business objectives, strengthen collaboration, and reinforce Scholastic's leadership in children's publishing.
