About The Position

McKesson is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the FastAuth team in its Specialty Access & Affordability value stream. FastAuth helps move specialty prescriptions through prior authorization faster, reducing the time between a prescription being written and a patient starting therapy. The manager owns delivery, team health, and technical direction across multiple major workstreams, and partners with other engineering leaders on decisions affecting the broader value stream. The team works across React front ends, .NET services, and event-driven integrations on Azure. It ships continuously and owns the software it builds. The role involves setting delivery priorities, providing technical and strategic direction, hiring and developing talent, and collaborating across engineering, product, design, quality, and partner teams. The position is hybrid and based out of McKesson’s Columbus, Ohio office, with regular collaboration across time zones. Priority will be given to candidates who reside in the Columbus metropolitan area. McKesson is unable to provide current or future sponsorship for this role.
