Sponsorship is not available now or in the future. McKesson offers a competitive compensation package. The base pay range is $126,000–$210,000, and an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may also be offered. Compensation depends on factors including performance, experience, skills, equity, market evaluations, and geography.

  • Clear written and verbal communication for engineering and executive audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with healthcare applications, particularly EHR integrations.
  • Prior authorization, pharmacy, or payer domain experience.

  • Prioritize investment across projects and refocus effort when it is not advancing business goals.
  • Run efficient operating cadences within SAFe, including PI planning, while minimizing process overhead.
  • Address root causes that block the team.
  • Protect long-term growth, retention, and psychological safety while delivering results.
  • Define a FastAuth vision aligned with value stream and company priorities, and bring engineers and cross-functional partners along.
  • Partner with architects and staff engineers on design decisions involving TypeScript, React, .NET, Azure, and event-driven architecture.
  • Resolve misalignment with partner teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead the team through change, complexity, and ambiguity.
  • Attract, hire, and retain a diverse engineering team with long-term organizational health in mind.
  • Interview and assess senior candidates, and calibrate team members as interviewers.
  • Set clear performance expectations, motivate high performers, and address low performance.
  • Develop careers by matching opportunities to individual goals and providing next-level work when appropriate.
  • Structure the team effectively and plan headcount for sustained success.
  • Break down silos across engineering, product, design, and quality, and influence toward business-wide outcomes.
  • Build cross-functional relationships, facilitate discussions, and resolve disagreements by managing competing viewpoints.
  • Disagree and commit when needed to advance critical priorities.
  • Promote inclusion, proactively surface cultural issues, and follow through on concerns.
  • Communicate clearly in writing and verbally, tailor messages to the audience, and keep relevant stakeholders aligned.
