Under general direction, the Sr Manager Sales is responsible for managing a team of sales personnel and directing them in their day-to-day responsibilities as well as developing a strategy for their team to ensure day to day duties are accomplished. The incumbent helps their team define the opportunity strategy to sell J.B. Hunt services and align internal teams on executing the strategy to establish and grow a book of business. Responsibilities include developing and growing employees, a vast knowledge of J.B. Hunt internal systems, and executing business with excellent customer service and profitable growth through team management. This role will promote and foster a customer-centric culture by influencing a team, and external and internal clients.
