Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Must have an understanding of the business impact of sales contracts and selling expenses.
  • Must be able to manage the work of team members to optimize performance.
  • Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies and budgets to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Review and authorize sales agreements, ensuring profitability and strategic alignment.
  • Occasionally engage in direct sales activities with priority accounts.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports to optimize their performance and growth.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects the company’s core values.
  • Take full ownership of your assigned district, including market share growth, financial performance, safety, sales, and strategic development of your business segment.
