About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Real Estate, Capital Projects PMO & Operations establishes, owns, and continuously improves the global management system used to govern Vertiv’s Capital project portfolio. The role owns the standards, processes, controls, systems, data, reporting, and performance-management framework that provide leadership with consistent visibility into capital investments and project performance. It serves as the operational backbone of the Capital organization and provides independent portfolio and project assurance by identifying gaps in governance, project controls, financial reporting, risk management, and project performance. The position does not perform detailed project execution. Instead, it ensures project teams work within a consistent, scalable, disciplined framework and that leaders have the information needed to make timely decisions. Vertiv’s Capital organization acts as the owner-side project management function for real estate and facilities capital investments. Qualified third parties generally perform detailed project delivery activities, while Vertiv retains responsibility for project and business outcomes. The role establishes global governance and project lifecycle standards; maintains portfolio visibility and executive reporting; partners with Finance on capital forecasting and reporting; independently reviews project assurance concerns; owns the Capital business requirements for project-management systems and data; supports supplier performance management; and advances continuous improvement and capability building across the Capital organization.
