About The Position

The Stow Company is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management in Holland, MI. This role is accountable for Stow's product roadmap, optimizing across revenue growth, cost savings, operational efficiency, and customer intimacy to shape the future of Stow's physical and digital product offerings across dealer, direct-to-consumer, and retail channels. Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Management, this role bridges product direction with day-to-day operations by building the systems, documentation, and team capabilities for rigorous and excellent product operations. This is a hands-on, high-visibility, working-leader role that requires building trust across departments like Operations, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Program Management, and presenting clear, data-informed recommendations that link product decisions to business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including time spent building or scaling repeatable processes.
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and future leaders.
  • Track record of building trust and driving outcomes across functions without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking; comfortable building a business case from scratch.
  • Skilled in giving and receiving direct, constructive feedback.
  • Executive presence — able to bring a recommendation to senior leadership and hold your position under scrutiny.
  • Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internally and externally to The Stow Company.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of personnel in an office and a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to take the initiative and work well independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap across Stow's channels, translating market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape into recommended prioritized initiatives.
  • Build detailed business cases for major initiatives, including technical requirements, revenue projections, and ROI, to align product direction with company priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate new product and partnership opportunities, translating them into marketable concepts.
  • Lead and develop the product management and product development team, building the technical and leadership skills needed for scale.
  • Create systems, documentation, and repeatable processes for rigorous product operations, moving beyond reactive project management.
  • Diagnose resourcing and process gaps using data.
  • Anchor the team's day-to-day work in organizational priorities, focusing on impact.
  • Build strong, proactive partnerships with Operations, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Program Management to drive shared solutions.
  • Represent Product in cross-functional planning and project reviews, and own follow-through on commitments.
  • Partner with Program Management to ensure work is clearly scoped, documented, and ready for execution.
  • Maintain a direct line to executive leadership on product plans, metrics, and roadmap progress.
  • Bring forward clear, well-reasoned recommendations and manage confidently through scrutiny.
  • Connect product decisions explicitly to business outcomes (revenue, margin, customer intimacy) when presenting to leadership.
  • Partner with Finance to shape product pricing recommendations, lifecycle management, and profitability analysis.
  • Ensure product decisions balance market competitiveness with Stow's financial goals.
