About The Position

ADP is hiring a Sr. Product Manager for their Payments team. This role is for individuals who are empathetic to client needs, inspired by transformation, and impactful in improving the lives of millions daily. The ideal candidate has experience taking products from concept to commercialization with market success and seeks a dynamic, inclusive team environment with a culture of collaboration and belonging. This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days a week in Pasadena, CA, or San Dimas, CA, and is not eligible for remote work. The position involves working alongside product managers and developers to bring products to market, driving product strategy focused on improving associate and client experiences across payments-related workflows. Collaboration with engineering, operations, risk, design, and external partners is key. The role centers on reimagining user journeys, reducing friction, and delivering seamless experiences across internal tools, client-facing capabilities, and partner integrations. Experience with AI-enabled capabilities is beneficial but not the sole focus. The role requires resilience, integrity, and a proactive approach to market trends and customer needs, acting as a guiding voice for product roadmaps. The candidate must be a deep listener, understand product delivery cycles within Agile teams, and be adept at explaining and documenting product roadmaps for diverse audiences. Domain expertise and a passion for staying current with industry trends are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
  • 5+ years of product management experience ideally spanning payments, workflow platforms, digital experience transformation, or related product domains.
  • Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, partner integrations, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled product capabilities, such as AI agents, automation, or intelligent support experiences.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and data driven analysis.
  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the product roadmap focused on payments experiences, workflow redesign, and user journey improvements across associate and client interactions.
  • Document and prioritize product features, researching new industry trends to enhance products based on clients, market, ADP's goals, and future tech impacts.
  • Reimagine and improve workflows that impact associates and clients, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, reduce friction, and improve satisfaction.
  • Create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across multiple teams including developers, other product managers, and UX teams.
  • Measure product effectiveness, report outcomes, and drive priorities.
  • Support product initiatives involving AI agents, automation, and intelligent experiences to improve service delivery, navigation, and task completion.
  • Work with UX teams on client experience journeys to deliver new features, product enhancements, or create new services.
  • Communicate and defend ideas to internal and external stakeholders, answering critical questions.
