Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months , subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be , regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview: The Sr. Manager, Process Deployment plays a critical leadership role in driving standardized, scalable, and efficient business processes across DePuy Synthes. As part of the Strategy & Transformation group within global o perations , t his role partners closely with stakeholders across s upply c hain, global and regional c ommercial , f inance, and other functional areas to translate enterprise strategies into practical process solutions that improve business performance. This role will serve as the global process owner for Long-Range Portfolio Planning (LRPP), developing, implementing, and maturing a best-in-class process that connects seamlessly with upstream and downstream process handoffs, including long-range financial planning (LRFP), integrated business planning (IBP), and strategic capacity planning (SCM).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with preference in B usiness, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain / Operations, or related field(s).
  • 8–10 years of relevant work experience, including leadership experience in strategy, analytics, operational excellence, project management, or business transformation.
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end strategic business planning processes
  • Deep understanding of the Orthopaedics business, including field operations and go-to-market (GTM) models
  • Experience in engaging business and technology partners to deliver effective solutions for sophisticated data needs and incorporating long term strategic foresight in data needs and utilization
  • Proven ability defining a strategic vision and translating it into executable strategy .
  • Ability to translate complex topics into simple, workable solutions.
  • Strong communication and influencing with the ability to adjust to the audience across multiple levels (including senior leadership) and geographies is .
  • High level of personal initiative, ability to function autonomously with self-confidence.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience building and scaling governance models for process management.
  • Prior people leadership experience with direct and indirect reports.
  • Prior experience in Commercial, Finance, or Va lue Stream
  • Prior experience partnering with external vendors or consultants.
  • English ; additional languages a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification preferred.
  • PMP, FPX, or similar project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Long-Range Portfolio Planning Business (LRPP) Global Process Owner : Responsible to the lead the LRPP process, project plan, process maturit y, and digital enablement
  • Leads the development and deployment of capabilities, with accountability for on-time, on-budget, on-quality delivery
  • Ensure the implementation of the LRPP roadmap by utilizing the external expert contract model, in full alignment with the global commercial and supply chain teams
  • Drive maturity in critical process integrations including LRFP, LRIP , Strategic Capacity Planning, and I ntegrated Business Planning
  • Develop and execute project, financial, and resource plans; mana ging the relationship with key external resources and ensuring appropriate contracts & skills are in place
  • Strateg ic Process Development & Deployment : Lead the deployment and adoption of standardized business process blueprints aligned with DePuy Synthes operating models.
  • Drive process excellence initiatives, including process design, optimization, and performance measurement across global and regional teams.
  • Partner with functional leaders to identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, ensuring alignment with business objectives .
  • Understand the business requirements and support the definition of solutions that are effective and fit for the different regions, striking the balance of standardization and harmonization with platform-specific needs
  • Oversee change management and training strategies to support successful implementation and sustained adoption of new processes.
  • Establish governance mechanisms, metrics, and reporting to monitor process effectiveness and adoption .
  • Lead and develop high ‑ performing teams and project resources, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
