Raytheon is looking for a Sr. Manager, Material Program Manager (MPM) to join the Operations & Supply Chain group for the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit (SBU) – Advanced Integrated Surface Sensos directorate in Tewksbury, MA. This role requires advanced/applied knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management and proposal activities. In this role, you will apply your existing knowledge of Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product team. Additionally, you will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities and assists with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW). The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in supply chain processes, procurement, supplier management, and TINA-compliant proposal development to drive successful execution of new program capture and execution activities. Post-capture, you will contribute to the development of material strategies, supplier engagement, and program support during the early phases of new contract execution. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issues and conflict resolution. As a member of product team in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate at an executive level within and outside your function, using your ability to inspire others outside of your immediate work area to explain gain alignment on plans, policies, practices, and procedures. This position is a hybrid role however it does require up to 30% travel to supplier and customer sites. The hybrid requirement requires 2 days onsite per week in the Tewksbury or Andover locations.
