About The Position

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Manager of Supply Chain Management for its Operations & Supply Chain group within the Advanced Technologies Strategic Business Unit (SBU) – Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors directorate in Tewksbury, MA. This role requires advanced knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), project management, and proposal activities. The position is hybrid, requiring two days onsite per week in Tewksbury or Andover, with up to 30% travel to supplier and customer sites domestically and internationally.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Industry experience in Aerospace and Defense.
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Excellent reporting/communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process.
  • Identify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtain any required Terms Attachments (Flow Down Attachment) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtain and understand supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
