About The Position

The Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations advances the YMCA of Greater Seattle’s mission by providing disciplined project management and implementation support for Marketing & Communication (MarCom) work across the organization. The role translates strategy and direction from senior MarCom leadership into coordinated action, practical plans, clear calendars, reliable workflows, timely delivery, and implementation support. It combines planning and coordination with hands-on work when needed to keep priorities moving, such as building draft frameworks, organizing and editing stakeholder contributions, preparing implementation materials, and posting approved content through established platforms. The position helps make MarCom work visible, coordinated, and complete by structuring projects, coordinating contributors and timelines, documenting next steps, following up on decisions, identifying blockers, and improving operating practices. Potential areas of focus include coordinating marketing and communication requests from the Financial Development team, supporting internal communication priorities, coordinating the organization-wide social media calendar and social media managers, and providing MarCom operations improvement and general communication support. The role works in a professional office environment with a hybrid arrangement requiring at least two days at the Downtown Association Office or other YMCA of Greater Seattle sites as needed. It is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position, with hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Travel is primarily local during the business day, with some out-of-area and evening or overnight travel possible. The position also carries responsibility for ensuring staff are screened, trained, supervised, and accountable to the organization’s abuse risk management standards.
