To learn more about fairlife and its complete line of products, please visit fairlife.com. job purpose: The Sr. Manager, Large Store Retail Sales South/Southwest position will play a vital role in driving sales growth within your assigned customers, acting as the Fairlife SME (subject matter expert) with our partners. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales & execution within an assigned region, including achieving profitable growth while delivering on KPI’s, store visits to review execution with all partners internal and external, organizing planning/review meetings with key stakeholders and our distributor partners, partnering with commercial teams to maintain current programs and preparing for and conducting sales calls with assigned Key Accounts. This position requires extensive travel within the assigned region, approximately 50% to 75% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field/MBA Preferred
  • Prior Key Account Management sales experience is a must (5 years, preferably with food or beverage products).
  • Prior management experience (5 years, preferably with food or beverage products).
  • Local market knowledge (geography, key contacts, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to drive a results driven team of sales professionals to quota attainment
  • Proven ability to introduce and sustain consistent accountability practices
  • Financial and business acumen required to include overall budget management

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of sales & execution to deliver KPI’s and align to corporate goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors and retail partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities to maintain HHP and market share
  • Conduct market research and analysis through reporting tools and store visits to stay informed on trends in industry, assigned market vs ROM/national, or customer.
  • Store visits to review execution with all partners internal and external, including but not limited to bottlers, NAOU, and Acosta
  • Partner with internal partners to collaborate on selling tools, strategies and guidelines
  • Assist in presenting fairlife’s strategies with customers; both local/regional as needed across all the Large Store retail Southwest/West landscape
  • Ensure local chain programming is being communicated effectively with XF partners
  • Complete any paperwork/spreadsheets that may be necessary including trackers, market surveys, etc.
  • Deliver regular quantitative and qualitative analysis and feedback to XF partners on program results
  • Expected to be in market on a regular basis, covering entire geography of assigned area with a total portfolio lens while in market
  • Manages key account sales budget (both trade and marketing) within assigned customers, adjusting for needs within each brand, while maintaining fiscal responsibility
