About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and executing media and investment strategies for franchise partners. The Sr. Manager will lead integrated planning processes to optimize franchise-level investment and support brand objectives. They will also provide account leadership, manage relationships with franchise owners, and translate complex data into actionable insights. The position involves evaluating market-level data to recommend investment strategies, acting as a liaison between Franchise Marketing and the Paid Media team, and improving existing planning frameworks and reporting standards. The role also includes integrating AI capabilities to streamline workflows and enhance partner confidence. This is a 15-month contract position.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in media planning or marketing strategy (Agency or Franchise experience preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in leveraging data analytics to drive strategic business outcomes.
  • Prior experience working within a technology or product-led operating model is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing direct reports and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience translating media performance and market intelligence into executive-level business recommendations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multi-location or franchise business models preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize and deploy national and local media frameworks in partnership with internal Paid Media teams and external agencies to design, deploy, and influence adoption of national and local media frameworks.
  • Lead the integrated planning process to drive and optimize franchise level investment to effectively support meeting brand objectives.
  • Oversee Account Managers and provide day-to-day portfolio support, leveraging data analytics tools to deliver robust marketing performance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary lead for system-wide partner relations and change management, guiding franchise owners through local media planning and high-stakes transitions, including mergers, acquisitions, and new location start-ups.
  • Act as the primary media advocate for franchise partners, translating sophisticated data, competitor research, and market performance trends into clear, actionable insights.
  • Partner with Paid Media and agency vendors to build compelling business cases, ensuring all media investment recommendations are strategically justified and clearly communicated.
  • Leverage existing market-level data to evaluate franchise performance, competitive dynamics, media efficiency, and customer demand trends.
  • Translate data into actionable investment recommendations that help franchise partners identify market opportunities, bridge investment gaps, and improve localized profitability.
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between Franchise Marketing and the Paid Media team, integrating local franchise priorities and market dynamics into broader media strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with Paid Media channel owners and agency partners.
  • Evaluate, improve, and scale existing planning frameworks, reporting standards, and investment methodologies to drive consistency across franchise markets.
  • Proactively identify and implement process enhancements, including the integration of established AI capabilities, to streamline marketing workflows, optimize team capacity, and bolster franchise partner confidence.
