About The Position
The Sr. Manager Finance is the financial leader for Barcel USA and a strategic business partner to senior leadership. The position leads financial planning, performance management, profitability, capital allocation, financial governance, and decision support to enable sustainable growth and achievement of business objectives. The role owns the Budget and forecast processes, leads the financial evaluation and governance of CAPEX projects, and develops actionable insights that improve business performance. While primarily accountable for Barcel USA, the position also participate providing financial support for Barcel Global and ROW strategic initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Minimum +10 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Microsoft Office; Excel Advanced, PowerPoint, Word, PBI, AI, ERP

Responsibilities
- Lead Finance activities for Barcel USA, acting as the primary finance business partner to commercial and operational leadership.
- Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Budget, Forecast, and Long-Range Planning processes.
- Lead monthly financial performance reviews and provide actionable insights to business leadership.
- Evaluate and challenge business assumptions to ensure financial commitments are realistic and achievable.
- Lead financial evaluation and approval recommendations for CAPEX projects, including ROI, NPV, IRR, payback analysis, and post-investment reviews.
- Ensure capital investments are aligned with strategic priorities and corporate financial objectives.
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and RGM to identify opportunities to improve profitability and return on investment.
- Oversee pricing, profitability, customer, channel, and product portfolio analyses.
- Lead transfer pricing governance with Barcel manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment with Grupo Bimbo policies and financial objectives
- Develop financial models supporting growth initiatives, new products, customer opportunities, and commercial investments.
- Support executive decision-making through financial analysis, scenario planning, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations.
- Support Barcel Global and ROW financial initiatives if needed.
