About The Position

The Sr Manager Engineering is the Zone’s resident expert in wastewater process design and engineering. The role develops and deploys standardized wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) designs, equipment standards, project specifications, and capital estimates for major capital initiatives. Working with project leads and cross-functional partners, the position helps ensure projects support business continuity, operating income, factory efficiency, safety, quality, sanitary requirements, environmental compliance, and Kraft Heinz standards. The role also benchmarks installed WWTPs, evaluates best available technologies, supports project execution and troubleshooting, and uses project reviews and performance data to improve standards and wastewater operations across the Zone. It provides technical guidance on wastewater processes and their strategic fit within the Manufacturing Network, contributes to Zone Technical Peer Reviews, and develops and monitors operating KPIs and wastewater performance improvements. This is a normal office environment with open workspaces and moderate travel to customer locations, stores, and manufacturing facilities. The role requires 30% domestic and international travel, which varies with project development stage. A driver’s license is required. Physical requirements include constant keyboard or text input; occasional access to high or low objects and staircases; and frequent standing during commissioning, FAT, and startup.
