About The Position

In the role of Sr. Manager, Segment Performance & Management, you help convert intelligence into accountability. Building on the intelligence that shows what the opportunity is, this role tracks whether we are capturing it, quantifies what it is worth, and builds the business cases that unlock the resources to grow it. You are the person who makes the opportunity measurable and fundable.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, segment finance, or business management within financial services.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining a business unit or segment P&L, including revenue and cost attribution methodology, not just reporting against an existing model
  • Demonstrated product analytics experience in a multi-product banking context: penetration, attach rates, wallet share, and client profitability
  • Experience developing investment-grade business cases: financial modelling, revenue opportunity sizing, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Track record of producing executive-ready performance reporting with diagnosis and recommendations, not just metrics
  • Experience working within data governance frameworks across Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams
  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a segment management or business analytics function within a retail bank or wealth manager
  • Familiarity with cross-border or multi-entity P&L structures
  • Experience working across the Canadian and US banking markets
  • CPA, CFA, or CMA designation is a strong asset but not needed
  • Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of graduate degree

Responsibilities

  • Define, maintain, and track the cross-border segment profitability metrics.
  • Maintain by persona where data supports it to track revenue, and cost-to-serve by segment.
  • Own the product analytics function for the cross-border segment.
  • Track product penetration, attach rates, wallet share, and product revenue by persona cohort.
  • Identify high value product combinations to generate entrenched and profitable cross-border relationships.
  • Surface underperforming products and cohort insights.
  • Support product development and prioritization decisions with client-level and financial evidence.
  • Own the relationship depth framework to assess, track and quantify gaps.
  • Own the internal performance metrics framework, establish baselines, set targets, and produce a regular performance view for segment leadership.
  • Support the business case development to justify investment in the cross-border segment for new products, distribution initiatives, technology builds, partnerships, and budget requests.
  • Operate within the Client Data Domain governance framework at all times.
  • Maintain the usage and governance framework of end-to-end client data; documentation of data sources, methodologies, and assumptions.
  • Participate in governance reviews and raise data use questions proactively.

Benefits

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities.
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • A world-class training program in financial services.
  • Opportunities to do challenging work, including leveraging AI and SRE principles to drive innovation and operational excellence.
