Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech This role will partner closely with the Electrophysiology Supply Chain E2E Leadership Team and Director of Strategic Process Capabilities to drive development of the long-term supply chain strategy, enabling operating model and talent strategy, prioritization and tradeoff decision-making for the portfolio, and provide oversight for major transformation programs to ensure they are appropriately led, resourced, and managed, to deliver on our target outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of directly related work experience
  • Demonstrated success in clearly and concisely communicating across all levels of the organizations within an end-to-end Supply Chain
  • Previous experience working in an FDA regulated environment within the Healthcare Industry
  • Outstanding analytical skills with ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable items at the strategic and tactical levels
  • Experience in business case development, financial / business acumen is required
  • Consulting Firm or Private Equity Experience
  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing others in a complex matrix organization is required; ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex environment is required
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Domestically and/or internationally

Responsibilities

  • Drive collaboration with the MedTech Center, EP teams, and external partners to create a robust, aligned end-to-end business strategy
  • Partner with Electrophysiology and MedTech teams to define a transformation roadmap; document, align, and revise plans, processes, capabilities, and forms as needed
  • Foster cross-functional understanding of the “why” and the “how” to deliver and sustain our strategy, ensuring readiness of required processes and capabilities
  • Maintain a continuous execution mindset aligned with established governance to implement the strategic plan
  • Develop executive-level materials to communicate strategy, progress, and cross-functional alignment
  • Tie failure modes and improvement opportunities to root causes from past outcomes to strengthen long-term success
  • Define and assess SC capabilities for EP’s long-term success, establishing a maturity and improvement roadmap and modeling best practices for other MedTech businesses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to drive the strategy cycle (Strategic Planning, Long Range Financial Planning, Business Planning) and ensure alignment with Supply Chain, Franchise, Functional, and Enterprise partners
  • Generate insights from operational, portfolio, and project data to support operational and strategic decision-making for the E2E EP team
  • Coordinate with leads of connected business management processes (Capital, Savings, Performance Management, Reliability, Value Capture) to develop ongoing reporting and escalation processes for the E2E SC LT
  • Lead the development of updates, communications, analyses, and reports in support of the EP E2E Team
  • Lead, facilitate, and manage special assignments and projects/programs
  • Support the monthly executive leadership reporting cadence
  • Create and disseminate knowledge-center content, website updates, and periodic communications to achieve buy-in and visibility, in partnership with knowledge/ communications management team
  • Develop a reporting cadence, methodology, and visualizations to help leadership understand the EP strategy within the SC context
  • Track, analyze, and report supply chain KPIs (delivery accuracy, inventory turnover, order cycle time, cost metrics); identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and scorecards to provide real-time supply chain insights for stakeholders
  • Excellence in execution, partnering across functions
  • The defined strategy and execution will be cross-functional; thus requiring cross-functional participation with senior business partners, knowledge of practical implementation considerations, and understanding and articulation of the total business value
  • Requirement to span a broad set of functional groups, processes, and products while also maintaining the proper flexibility of thinking as required for the specific task at hand (i.e., range to perform detailed line/ initiative-level analysis and observations and also to develop executive level communications of the value at stake from delivering on an entire portfolio of similar initiatives)
  • Monitor performance to plan, support development of G&Os, ensure capability translation matrices exists and progresses in accordance with our goals, credo and people development
