About The Position

Restaurant Brands International is looking for an Sr. Manager, Calendar Analytics, TH, Canada. Calendar Analytics encapsulates business-critical priorities: (i.) National and test program forecasting; (ii.) National and test calendar program analysis; (iii) Ongoing analysis and deep-dive support for calendar planning and category management to improve overall marketing plan and strategy for TH Canada. This position reports to the Sr Director, Marketing Analytics & Menu Pricing, TH, Canada.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in product/portfolio strategy and/or analytics, financial modeling, management consulting, or similar
  • Strong acumen in data analysis, conceptual and quantitative problem solving to form and share data-driven recommendations
  • Advanced skill in SQL, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with python and/or other advanced coding languages preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead National and Test Program Forecasting: Lead national and test market forecasting for all new products, ensuring forecasts are built using best practices of analyzing past performance, category strategy, and overall marketing communication plans. Lead analysis of variance for forecasts and implement workstreams to continuously improve accuracy.
  • Lead National and Test Program Analysis: Lead national and test market analysis to provide strategic inputs to calendar, category, and leadership on performance of all campaigns, while also providing inputs on future viability or potential of campaigns to generate sales, traffic, and profitability. Lead deep-dives and analysis at both product- and guest-level transactions, using internal sales and traffic incrementality models, to provide hypothesis-led insights to cross-functional teams and leadership on drivers of national and test performance.
  • Improve Depth & Insights for Calendar Analytics: Own, manage, and improve all national sales and traffic incrementality models as well as guest-level metrics used to analyze drivers of performance for all national and test market campaigns. Identify new sources for performance insights, including guest-level information, via expanding analytical capabilities and databases in partnership with cross-functional teams, including Advanced Engineering and AI, POS, Digital & Loyalty. Identify new areas of automation to streamline reporting and visualization of performance via dashboards, routine presentations, and easing access to information for all marketing cross-functional teams. Own and execute roadmaps for all special projects to improve overall Calendar Analytics capabilities, including onboarding new tools, building new models, and improving the depth and accuracy of analytical capabilities.
