About The Position

This role focuses on building a sales pipeline by establishing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts within the Gas Utilities sector in the Southeast region. The position involves providing field market intelligence, participating in RFP responses, developing and documenting sales strategies, and supporting marketing material development. The role also includes conducting service demonstrations, "Lunch and Learns," and attending tradeshows, ensuring timely and effective management of client information requests related to new business.

Requirements

  • Business/Sales Degree
  • 6+ years’ experience in the utility or pipeline industry
  • Networked in the Gas Utilities and/or midstream pipeline sector
  • Ability and desire to travel 3 to 4 times a month (50-70% Travel) as needed

Responsibilities

  • Build a sales pipeline that focuses on establishing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
  • Provide field market intelligence such as competitive information and market or industry trends.
  • Participate in preparation of responses to RFP’s.
  • Conduct a clear and logical business development and selling strategy, and document in a manner suitable for effective communication.
  • Support development of marketing material.
  • Provide service demonstrations “Lunch and Learns” as well as tradeshow attendance.
  • Ensure that requests for proposal, and other client information requests related to new business, are captured, managed, and prepared in an effective and timely manner.
