About The Position

This role oversees the administrative day-to-day facility maintenance needs of the auction, including scheduling and monitoring repair work. It requires someone who can manage lot damage, coordinate sale day activities, and ensure timely processing of Lot Operations paperwork. The position involves communication with various stakeholders including commercial accounts, customer support teams, vendors, and other auction personnel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 7 years’ experience OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 5 years’ experience; OR 9 years’ experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
  • Strong knowledge of building infrastructure, maintenance practices, and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proficient in the use of facility management software
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana testing may not be administered, but it is a drug-free workplace)
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Keep track of maintenance schedules and ensure work is executed in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records for all preventive maintenance and repairs
  • Manage inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Coordinate the scheduling and completion of all required inspections and certifications
  • Update facility blueprints and as-built documentation as necessary
  • Monitors lot damage, meeting with managers on a regular basis to review and resolve potential Lot Operations problems
  • Ensures appropriate and effective coordination of the sale day lineup and execution of activities
  • Communicates with commercial accounts, customer support teams, vendors and other auction personnel to ensure coordination of Lot Operations’ activities
  • Ensures timely and accurate processing of all Lot Operations paperwork
