About The Position

The Apex Group is a global fund administration and middle office solutions provider with over 13,000 employees worldwide. They are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner for the North Americas Region. This role requires a high level of autonomy, decision-making, management, and coaching abilities, along with strong experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will work independently while contributing to a larger global HR team.

Requirements

  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Certified Senior HR Professional.
  • Significant experience gained in a similar role and industry.
  • Solid knowledge of employee relations processes and relevant employment legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders on complex/strategic HR topics, including restructuring, organizational design, and employee relations/legal matters.
  • Understand employment laws and requirements by state and country.
  • Execute employee relations cases, separation agreements, terminations, and redundancies in line with state laws.
  • Align with the regional Head of HR to provide backup, drive consistency, and share best practices.
  • Collaborate with local and global HR teams for regional input into global projects.
  • Create and maintain action plans for HR policy and procedure changes, ensuring compliance with local legislation, regulations, and Group standards.
  • Coordinate the regional delivery of the people strategy and key employee lifecycle activities, such as the compensation review process.
  • Provide day-to-day support for managers and senior stakeholders on People and Culture topics.
  • Advise and consult on employee strategy and hiring strategy in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, driving succession and talent planning.
  • Aid and lead in change management activities.
  • Drive M&A related activities, ensuring smooth integration aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage, coach, and develop extended team members as required.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects as business requirements arise.
