About The Position

Rivian is hiring an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role centers on advanced diagnostics, repairs, installations, and inspections, both at service centers and in field settings such as customer sites, mobile routes, remote locations, and production plants. The position is based primarily at a service center but may require remote work and travel as business needs demand. The role covers advanced vehicle systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage electronics, vehicle networks, chassis and dynamic systems, thermal management and HVAC, and ADAS and body/glass integration. It also includes parts operations, repair quality verification, technical documentation, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with customers, suppliers, field service engineers, and internal teams.
