About The Position

The Senior Field Engineer supports daily field operations and contributes to departmental goals. The role facilitates communication among field teams and trade partners, including self-perform team members, to promote a collaborative, solution-oriented work environment. It reinforces safety and quality standards by following established procedures and participating in site safety meetings and inspections. The role also supports accurate project documentation and reporting to inform project leadership, and helps identify and coordinate prefabrication opportunities with project teams and prefabrication partners for integration into field execution plans. The position supports the management and development of field operations team members under guidance, supervises daily site activities, coordinates materials and equipment, monitors project logs and progress reports, and communicates updates and concerns to project leadership. It applies judgment to quality control and routine field issues, supports resolution of operational challenges, and escalates complex matters as needed. Requirements

Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Five years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field.
First Aid and CPR certification.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the management and development of field operations team members, fostering skill growth and quality performance under guidance.
Supervise daily site activities and implement quality control measures, resolve routine issues, and support solutions to unique field challenges in compliance with project plans and safety protocols.
Coordinate the delivery and allocation of materials and equipment to support uninterrupted workflow.
Monitor accurate daily logs and progress reports documenting project activities and issues.
Communicate routine updates and concerns to project leadership to enable timely resolution of challenges.
Participate in or lead safety meetings and site inspections to reinforce accountability.
Support field teams, including self-perform teams, in addressing routine operational issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
Facilitate communication among field teams and trade partners.
Support identification and coordination of prefabrication opportunities with project teams and prefabrication partners.
