The Senior Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for managing requests for quotes and developing accurate, detailed estimates in alignment with company standards. This role also assumes project management responsibilities, which may vary based on project size and complexity. For smaller, in-trade projects, the Senior Estimator/Project Manager may manage projects independently; for larger, multi-trade projects, they will collaborate closely with the Contracts Project Management team. This position may work individually or lead a team of estimators within the department or with other trades to deliver comprehensive cost estimates that reflect the full scope of work. The Senior Estimator/Project Manager takes full ownership of the estimate throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. Additionally, this role supports the growth and development of junior and early-career estimators, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment. As a key stakeholder, the Senior Estimator/Project Manager plays a vital role in driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency across estimating and project management processes. The ideal candidate actively identifies and implements opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce risk, and improve project outcomes. Success in this role depends on strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams—to ensure alignment, clarity, and effective execution from concept to completion.
