About The Position

The Vehicle Engineering Labs Engineering Technician supports the operations and maintenance of vehicle testing facilities. The role includes daily operational support and customer coordination, with a strong focus on continuously improving testing and maintenance processes.

Requirements

1–3+ years of automotive- or aerospace-related testing experience.
Experience with fabrication, wiring, and building control system troubleshooting.
A proven track record of problem-solving and independent root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to produce clear, organized, and timely documentation.
Team-oriented mindset.
Strong interest in automotive technology.
Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating and maintaining climate chamber and chassis dynamometer facilities.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with automotive and electrified powertrain vehicles.

Responsibilities

Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of testing facilities.
Develop, document, and implement testing and maintenance procedures in compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
Install instrumentation, test equipment, and other components on prototype vehicles according to engineering specifications, standards, and test procedures.
Provide daily operational and test execution support across multiple facilities.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities.
