Cardinal Health•Dublin, OH
•$125,300 - $178,900

About The Position

The Sr. Engineer, 3PL SAP Run Operations role owns end-to-end SAP operations for Cardinal Health’s 3PL business, including incident management, problem resolution, change management, and release governance across 3PL S/4 HANA business functions. The role is expected to maintain 99%+ system availability and performance SLAs across SAP modules and integrated platforms; manage the SAP transport landscape, system refresh cycles, and DEV/QA/PRD environment governance; and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and permanent corrective actions. The role leads and develops SAP functional analysts and technical developers across multiple modules, and identifies opportunities to optimize operations, reduce manual effort, and improve process efficiency. It also ensures adherence to internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards; maintains documentation of configurations, integrations, and operating procedures; and supports audits by supplying evidence and remediating findings. The position also includes broader IT project and business analysis work: understanding business needs, defining project scope and requirements with stakeholders, evaluating business cases, coordinating user acceptance testing and change management, communicating project status, presenting results to business leaders, managing vendor relationships, and mentoring less experienced colleagues. The role works on complex, large-scope projects and may independently lead discussions with senior leaders.
