About The Position

The Operations Supervisor oversees the 3PL team and ensures efficient, accurate order fulfillment. The role maintains high standards for product stacking and staging, supports 3PL processes in line with company expectations, and drives results within established timelines. The supervisor leads and develops the team, upholds quality, and champions Pet Food Experts’ vision and strategy in daily operations.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 5:00 a.m. start. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 per year. There is no application deadline. Employment offers are contingent on passing a criminal background check. Pet Food Experts is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to give clear direction and resolve conflict professionally.
• Certification to operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift, reach truck, and electric pallet jack.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and occupational hazards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in WMS, inventory control, and Google Workspace.
• Skills in planning, prioritizing, and managing daily operations.
• Experience recruiting, training, and building a positive team culture.
• Willingness to work extended hours and mentor others as needed.
• Ability to read and understand English, including numbers and written instructions.

• Familiarity with barcode systems, voice-pick technology, and EDI.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor the Outbound team, using hands-on coaching and development to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee order fulfillment, loading, and 3PL processes, including quality control, efficiency, and on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate repairs with relevant departments and enforce quality control checks to uphold safety and efficiency standards.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Lead and adapt to organizational changes, foster continuous improvement, and use data to inform decisions.
• Conduct pre-shift stretch meetings to communicate priorities, monitor morale, and provide hands-on coaching.
• Partner with other departments to optimize warehouse practices.
